“This world is our world but that doesn’t mean we can always stop it from destroying itself. Some things are inevitable and out of our control, others are within our sphere of influence”. We need to learn what we can do and use it to move our lives forward. The things we have no control over, let it go. Don’t waste your time thinking about it. The world may be destroying itself, but we don’t have to let it destroy us. Keep planning and achieving goals but don’t stop striving for excellence. Once you stop moving, stop searching, stop trying, your life is over. Live your LIFE, don’t settle for anything less!
January 15, is the actual birth date of Martin Luther King Jr. I wonder what would he think of the progress we have made this far as a country, as a people? King had a dream he gave his life for. Today, in honor of Kings birthday, I ask that we do the same. Do what every you must do, give everything that you have in you, for your dream. Do something today that you have never done. Do something today to move you closer to realizing your dream.[spacer height=”default”]
“I say to you today, my friends, though, even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up, live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.””
– Martin Luther King Jr
This past week I have given you a series of questions in an effort to help you think about your next steps in life. It has been a process design to breakthrough the meaningless noise of life. By this time you should have fine-tuned your goal list and now you have some concrete answers that can point you in the right direction. I’m sure some of the questions we’re difficult to answer, however, if it was easy everyone would do it.[spacer height=”20px”]
This blog is designed to help people get out of their daily existence and move toward the dreams and aspirations they deserve. All the things that I talk about in the blog are things that I had to go through. Problems and issues that I needed to overcome. I had to change what I thought the definition of life was.[spacer height=”20px”]
We’ve all heard that old saying; the definition of crazy is “Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.” Let’s stop doing what we’ve always done so we can stop getting what we’ve always got. Do one thing different today, tomorrow do one more thing, and so on and so on and so on.[spacer height=”20px”]
This weekend I plan to work on the website and add some new features including a comment area where you tell me what you think. I would love to get your feedback. This will not only help me but so many others.[spacer height=”20px”]
My next post will be on Monday Jan 18th. Thank you for you support and please tell a friend.
Hi everyone, yesterday I had some technical difficulties and it wasn’t until late in the day that I found out that the blog page was missing from the site. Today I will repost the site from yesterday, please enjoy.[spacer height=”20px”]
Today is Wednesday, a lot of people call it hump-day. It is to signify the halfway point of the week. I remember a song called “living for the weekend”, I take that to mean if there was know weekend we would be died. The week has 120 hours in it, and the weekend has 48 hours. That’s just like someone offering you $120 and you say no thanks , just give me $48. I believe that we have been looking at this thing all wrong. It is through the week we have maximum time to do what we want. We should be looking forward to everyday. Life is not promised, we don’t know if we will see another weekend.[spacer height=”20px”]
I know what your saying, we have to work! Sure we do! Someone once said: “Do what you have to do, so one day you can do what you want to do.” Doing those 120 hours we should be planning for what we want next in our life. Everyday we have an opportunity to get one step closer to achieving a goal and accomplishing a dream. I challenge you to do one thing each day that will get you closer to what you want out of life. [spacer height=”20px”]Below are the list of questions of the day, they will help you with that one thing and more.
- Where are you busying yourself to distract yourself from what you know in your heart you should really be doing.
- What would you like to spend more time doing
- How can you rearrange things so that you can start working a process of action that will carry you into the version of yourself that you know you can be?
- How much do you value your time?
I would be remiss if I did not say something about President Barack Obama speech last night. His last speech just like his first speech seven years ago was complete with Dignity, elegance and intellectual sharpness. This has been the exact way he has carried himself in office. I must also acknowledge the first lady Michelle Obama who was not only Beautiful and also Classic in her appearance and demeanor.[spacer height=”20px”]
Make today the Best Day Ever!
